However, after graduating from school a couple of months ago and securing the world junior crown in her fifth and final attempt, she determined that splitting her focus between elite competition and university academics would hinder her training. Having balanced rigorous international tournament schedules with schoolwork for over a decade, Anahat explained that a full year dedicated solely to training is vital to reach peak form ahead of LA 2028.

Anahat’s historic victory in Ontario ended decades of Egyptian dominance in the junior circuit, where she defeated three Egyptian opponents across the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final. The world title serves as a massive confidence booster as she gears up for her next major assignment—the Asian Games in Japan. Facing top-ranked Asian competitors, a gold medal performance at the Asian Games could also earn her direct qualification for the 2028 Olympic Games.
