However, the High Court firmly rejected these pleas, establishing that when national security and the protection of the state are at stake, traditional procedural rigidity must give way to regulatory compliance and defensive imperatives within the sensitive 50-kilometer border belt.

In the Mirpura area of the Ghotaru sector, located barely 20 kilometers from the international boundary, a permanent structure encompassing a boundary wall, large assembly hall, and peripheral utilities was flattened to free two bighas of land reserved for displaced families. Similar administrative actions were executed in the Dhanana region and across the Nachna Panchayat Samiti, where permanent illegal encroachments were leveled by revenue officials.
