The incident occurred in Building No. 14 of Old MHB Colony where a slab from the third floor collapsed and fell into the second-floor flat. At the time, renovation work was underway on the second floor. Local Corporator Shivanand (Shiva) Shetty from Borivali Ward No. 9 immediately visited the spot to assess the situation after receiving complaints from residents.
