Ayodhya Ram Mandir News The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has postponed the appointment of its first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the filling of three vacant trustee positions. Following a crucial meeting of the board of trustees in Ayodhya, officials announced that the decision on both matters will be deferred for at least a month to allow adequate time for administrative evaluation and scrutiny. To ensure uninterrupted daily management, the Trust approved the creation and temporary appointment of a Secretary position alongside an official spokesperson.

The selection panel comprising retired Justice Pramod Kohli, retired Lieutenant General Vishnukant Chaturvedi, and former NIT Raipur chairperson Suresh Haware requested an additional month to evaluate candidates. Expecting a smaller pool, the panel was met with an overwhelming total of over 5,200 applications from retired bureaucrats, senior officials, and industry professionals. The board of trustees accepted the request to ensure every candidate is thoroughly vetted before a candidate is shortlisted for the role designed to oversee administrative operations, financial transparency, and pilgrim management.

Alongside the administrative deferrals, the Trust executed a significant restructuring of its religious oversight panel. A newly reconstituted nine-member Dharmik Samiti (Religious Committee), led by Trust Treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri, has been entrusted with complete authority over the Ram Temple’s religious affairs. Incorporating prominent saints and seers from Ayodhya, the panel will supervise daily rituals, temple festivals, priest training, and traditional Vedic practices in accordance with Ramanandi customs.
